WESSEX ACOUSTIC FOLK
CLUB
A reminder we are hosting the delightful duo
from Cornwall, CORNCROW,
on this coming Friday
22nd June at 8.15pm at The Royal British Legion, Church Lane,
Blandford, DT11 7AD.
Corncrow are Kim Guy and Steve Hunt who play
their own arrangements of mostly traditional songs with style and enthusiasm.
They played to packed appreciative audiences at Chippenham Folk Festival
recently, and are much in demand for festivals and folk clubs. They are the
resident act at Liskeard's Barley Folk venue. Come and enjoy them at our club
next Friday.
Providing opening support on this night is Terry
McDonald, another excellent performer of traditional songs and a regular at our
club.
Tickets are only ?6 each if you book ahead, or
?8 unbooked. It helps us hugely if you do book, either by a simple reply to this email,
or by calling Kathy on 01202 732239 or texting on 07590 411515. This way we can
ensure we have enough seats for everyone.
