Wow! Some of us, a very special few, were lucky enough to
see Adam Stephanie and Beth at the beautiful and atmospheric
Somerset House last night for an intimate pre-tour concert.
Absolutely stunning, surpassing all expectations. Look at these:

Expect this and more at the
WillesdenFolkUnion on Wednesday. See you there!
Its been a while coming. A lot of you will know Adam,
Beth, and Stephanie. If you are a banjo player you will credit Adam
with being one of the most inventive and original clawhammer players of
his generation. We now have the opportunity of being able to scrutinise
these skills in the flesh. Poor Adam. Celebrated in the US for his
recordings of traditional mountain songs and tunes, he has won
pretty much every award, competition and accolade going in Old Time
music. Beth is a veteran of mountain music, collaborating with
almost everyone who is anyone during her broad career, standing
shoulder to shoulder with some of the greats of Appalachian
music. Fiddler Stephanie Coleman, younger than the others, has
been privileged to learn her craft from some the best fiddlers in the
Southern States . In huge demand in America she is heralded for her
interpretations of authentic traditional old time fiddle
songs and tunes.
STATE OF THE ART? IT'S HERE ON WEDNESDAY 30TH MAY.
