Reuben's Train
Before they take their 3rd visit to Towersey Festival in August, the
wonderful Reuben's Train drop into Mrs Yarringtons for a performance.
Reuben's Train are duo Mick Watson (Vocals, eyebrows) and Keith Osbourne (
Vocals, Guitar, Banjo & Sideburns); always dressed in black and singing
songs - some traditional and some not - about murder, mayhem, incest and
injury and all from the darker side of life ... often leaving audiences not
quite sure how to react! Reuben's Train put the sorrow and the drama back into
the songs.
The influential Time Out magazine wrote "Exceptionally entertaining
black-clad duo, whose dramatic presentation of American and English
traditional and not-so-traditional classics play up the melodrama with wry
humour."
If you are into the upbeat styling of Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits interjected
with some dark humour ... this is not to be missed.
Tickets ?6 members & non members ?10 which includes membership for the
year.
