Received re Sacred Harp singing on Tuesday
=========================================================
On Tuesday, 7 February, we will have the first
Tuesday Sacred Harp singing in the new venue in Hampstead,
roughly 70 metres from Hampstead tube station. Couldn't be more convenient
for public transport. Lots of nice pubs around. But the acoustics will knock
you out, I promise...
Where?
Heath Street Baptist Church,
84 Heath Street, Hampstead,
London, NW3 1DN
The church is 70 yards north of Hampstead Tube Station
(up the hill, on the right). Hampstead
is served by the Northern Line. Any questions, please give me a ring (see my
number below).
Please note: We sing in the Basement of the church! The acoustics are fantastic, you will see...
As usual, the singing will run from 7.30 pm-10.00 pm.
Please bring a Sacred Harp (1991 edition) if you have one; some
loaners will be available.
You are always welcome to come for a while and then
leave when convenient to you. There is no requirement that you arrive or leave
on time, but I can promise we will be singing by 7.30 pm.
We will aim to finish by 10.00 pm.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.
