Hello everybody

We had yet another another exceptional event in Willesden on Wednesday with a surprise performance from old time legend Tom Paley (video to follow).  Tom joined Rachel Eddy and Allison Williams for two spectacular, classic songs: Living legend meets legend in the making. A magical moment.

And now for the first time we'll be a having a full day of music, dancing, food and other shenanigans.

We are honoured to be graced by the presence of old time sensations the Dust Busters from Brooklynn, NY.

At 3pm they will perform exclusively for children. Entrance is £3 for children and £5 for the necessary parent/carer. There will be free food and hi-energy appalachian dancing provided by London's own Alice Cade. Ever seen children clogging to a banjo? Completely off the cute-o-meter... But tickets are limited so book either with me or via the ticket link at www.willesdenfolkunion.com.

And at 8pm we continue with the gig for grown ups when the Dust Busters will perform their new songs from the album 'Prohibition is a Failure' recorded with John Cohen (yes the same John Cohen who founded the seminal New Lost City Ramblers with Tom Paley, above).

And if you're lingering after the childrens event or come early for supper you may get drawn into a Willesden Folk Union old time jam...news of this to follow.

Anyhow here's the Dust Busters looking very smart in all black:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AU0qbyNMGI&feature=related

And here's Tom and the girls last Wednesday:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz79vzDMzfQ

Looking forward to seeing you all there.
