Alistair Anderson
presents a performance of his multi-instrumental suite Steel Skies following
two days of workshops for any melody instrument at the Lewes Saturday Folk
Club on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March.

Steel Skies takes about an hour to perform. After this there will be a short
interval followed by an informal session for anyone with an instrument,
whether or not they have attended the workshop.
N.B. Alistair Anderson is also the solo guest performer at the Lewes Saturday
Folk Club on SATURDAY 19th March.
Tickets for non-workshoppers are £8 and are available from the club and its
website.

A One-day dance workshop to join in and try ‘Sussex Tradition– in the
Making.’
A variety of figures have been written into 6 dances, and were first
performed in the 1990s by members of Sussex Spinning Jenny, Bexhill’s own
clog team, mostly in sets of 8.
Open to all, come along and be part of a dance set, have fun and enjoyable
exercise. Full instruction and notations.
One dance will be taught in a pre-lunch session starting at 10am and carrying
on to an afternoon session to add another dance, finishing about 4.00pm.
Cost: £3 for the morning session or £5 for all day.
Bring your own lunch. Soft shoes. Free tea, etc.
