Dear Everyone,

We're looking forward to seeing plenty of old and new friends at this year's singaround. The pub has just changed hands and the new people are very enthusiastic: they will have at least three Harveys beers on draught (Best, Old and Hadlow Down) with the possibility of a fourth one yet to be announced. Their kitchen facilities will be a little reduced, but they plan to offer a range of reasonably-priced pub food throughout the day with veggie and wheat-free choices, and we've been in touch to make sure that service is as unobtrusive as possible.

There's also a tunes session at home in the Elephant & Castle, Lewes, from noon - 3.00 pm on the Sunday for anyone who'd like a bit more music before they head home.

SUSSEX All-day SINGAROUND
Royal Oak, Barcombe, East Sussex BN8 5BA
Saturday 15th. January 2011, 11.00 am – 11.00 pm.

The day begins as usual with an hour of join-in tunes while people arrive. Singing starts at noon; ballads and the occasional instrumental party piece will be very welcome. There's a break from 6.00 - 7.00 p.m. After the break we'll continue the singaround, and after completing the circuit of the room we'll try to put on anyone who hasn't yet sung.
