Subject: Pig-e-tin: Happy New Year

Hi folks,

Bad news is that out of our 3 Christmas gigs both Eastbourne and the P&J fell by the wayside due to weather and cars. But we did make it to Orpington Friday Folk on 17th December, and a good time was had by both us and the brave folk who tackled the icy conditions to join us.

Good news is that in lieu of our abortive Christmas gig at the Punch and Judy, we are now playing at the P&J on SUNDAY 13th February, from 6.00 pm - 9.00 pm. We hope as many of you West Kent folk as possible can join us. And you "foreigners" from outwith Kent too, of course!

The whole hog (ie all four of us rather than just Grant and Sue, as per normal) will also be supporting the monthly open session at The Kentish Horse this Sunday 9th January. These sessions are usually really good craic, with participants such as Round House Folk, Liz and Andy Lower and John Joseph frequently adding to the general jollity. Do join us if you can, and bring your party piece.

Also, on Saturday 15th January, Dangerous Age are playing at The Wheatsheaf in Marsh Green Edenbridge (that's the village on the Surrey/Kent borders; Markbeech is the one on the East Sussex/Kent border....)

More soon, including news of the 2011 Folk Ale - first weekend in June. In the mean time, check out regular music happenings at:
