Attached is the booking leaflet for the 2011 BROADSTAIRS FOLK WEEK . This will show you the many diverse acts we have booked for this year's festival, and we hope we can tempt you to join us.
You can check out the website for details of all the artistes appearing during the week, news updates and lots of information. This website is an ongoing process as the programme is tweaked and finalised so do keep an eye on it.
We know times are tough, so if you fancy coming to the festival but can't really afford it, why not consider joining our wonderful workforce? In return for approximately 35 hours work over the week we offer you a festival ticket and camping - it's a terrific way to enjoy the festival and make new friends. The form is on the site, and we will always welcome happy willing people to the team.
If you want to make a phone booking, or have any questions, just give us a call on 01843 604080- we are usually open Monday to Friday from 9 - 1, often longer, at this time of year, and you will be speaking to people who know the festival, not a ticket agency.
MEANWHILE IF YOU CAN'T WAIT TILL AUGUST............
In conjunction with the Sarah Thorne Theatre Club Hilderstone Memorial Theatre, St Peters Road, Broadstairs
we are delighted to welcome back
TRUCKSTOP HONEYMOON aka MIKE WEST and KATIE EULISS
These festival favourites can't afford the air fare from the USA in August any more so take this chance to see them out of season - once seen never forgotten, and every show a winner.
"A barnstorming punk rock take on vaudeville banjo and bluegrass music - a wonderful collaboration between the banjo-bangin' West and the twangy diva Euliss who pluck, strike, rap and tinkle more than a dozen instruments between them." .
May 27th at 7.45pm. Tickets £8 advance £10 door
For bookings telephone 0845 2626263 Monday to Friday open 1000 - 1400
Best wishes from the Broadstairs Folk Week Team, we hope to see you soon.
