Hi Everyone

Just a final reminder that next weekend (11th Sept) sees the Black Horse Festival 2011 fund-raiser featuring the very classy Uiscedwr

The final line up now sees respected finger picking  guitarist Roger Hubbard  and up and coming Zoe Konez

Not a bad line up for £10, and better than that all the profits going towards  the 2011 festival. All the fun starts at 7.45  and you can find all the details and tickets info  at www.blackhorsefestival.org.uk

come along and give your support and  help keep this  great event alive.

Brighton Early Music Festival 2010
October 22nd - November 7th
Ritual

Mark up your diaries for yet more dynamic offerings at this year’s festival.  Courtship and marriage, religion and customs, living, dying and remembering, eating, drinking, revelry and the seasons - celebrated in music from antiquity to the present. Joglaresa return with an ecstatic celebration of medieval songs, Horses Brawl use driving folk rhythms in a harvest inspired programme, folk duo Emily and Hazel Askew join The Artisans to play medieval pilgrims’ music and you can see them on a live Radio 3 recording too. Add to this heady brew The Telling with a “concert-theatre” programme inspired by the music of 12th century Provence troubadours, the Boyan Ensemble with sacred chants and songs of the Ukraine as well as the classical show stoppers The Sixteen, Red Priest, Emma Kirby and our 400th anniversary performance of the Monteverdi 1610 Vespers. And much, much, more – talks, and an array of free music in Brighton’s White Night celebration.

Visit www.bremf.org.uk for full festival listing. Booking now open.
