*Two Gentlemen of Verona* - Somerset
Tickets/Info: In addition to the growing number of theatres using our service, we've been working with several rural touring schemes that are facilitating and providing professional productions to local communities, one of which is Take Art:, based in Somerset. One of the Take Art events is 'Two Gentlemen of Verona', on tour throughout Somerset this Autumn. The show is presented by Two Gents Productions:; a Zimbabwean riot of love, friendship and betrayal.

"I was completely amazed when I saw this fantastic show at Bath Theatre Royal last season. From Verona to Milan, via Harare and Bulawayo, two great friends vie for the love of the same woman in a wonderful re-telling of this classic Shakespearean comedy. Using little to no props, just a few items of clothing, a washing line and a suitcase, the two actors slip into the plays 15 characters - from amorous suitors to sullen daughters, depressed servants and even a dog! With great intuition and comic timing, the actors bring Shakespeare's verse to life in a totally new style. A striking gem of a production." What's On Stage
