The Hamsters play Jimi Hendrix, supported by The Hamsters!

The guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters have long been established as one of the UK's premier live attractions. Although a band in their own right - playing Rock, Blues and Americana - they've also long widely been regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of Jimi Hendrix's music.
On the 25th they'll be performing a show of his songs to commemorate his passing 40 years ago in September 1970.

The band will 'support' themselves by first playing a set of their own brand of music, then return for a full Jimi show!
Tickets £14 Encore!Gulbenkian £12 14+

SEVENTIES POPSTARS HELP KENT BREAST CANCER CHARITY GO PINK THIS OCTOBER

Seventies band The Rubettes featuring Alan Williams will be taking to the stage at Chatham Central Theatre this October to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

White Caps, Tiger Crepes and Feather Boas is a one-off spectacular, of 70s nostalgia arranged by the Mid Kent Breakthrough fundraising group and will also star Mud II featuring members of Les' Gray's Mud and Too Rex, a tribute to Marc Bolan and T Rex

The concert, was the brainchild of Chairman of Breakthough Mid Kent and drummer with Mud II, Phil Wilson. Phil says, "We want everyone to Go Pink this October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and hope to turn the Central Theatre totally pink for the evening" " Breakthrough Mid Kent is a newly formed fundraising group run by volunteers. This is our first big music event so we are hoping that lots of people will support us"

The Rubettes will be playing their classic hits including Sugar Baby Love and Juke Box Jive, while the fantastic Mud II will be donning their Tiger Feet and drape jackets. The evening kicks off with the flamboyant Too Rex, one of the country's finest tributes to the legendary Marc Bolan

White Caps, Tiger Crepes and Feather Boas takes place at The Chatham Central Theatre on Monday 4th October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18.50 and £17.50 with ALL proceeds going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Tickets are on sale now from the box office 01634 338338 www.thecentraltheatre.co.uk

Remember to wear something pink....even the men!
