With Special Guest Kevin Dempsey
The next Fiddle School will be the usual mix of individual
lessons and group practice. Kevin Dempsey will be joining us to work with
individuals and groups - guitar players welcome – in which case we’ll make sure
you have an individual lesson with Kevin.
Since starting work
together in 2000, Kevin Dempsey & Joe Broughton have recorded three albums
and toured extensively in over 20 countries round the world. Combining emotive
songs, unrivalled instrumental capability and a spectacular high energy show,
they never fail to create a spellbinding
atmosphere.
Kevin Dempsey has music
in his soul and is widely regarded as one of Europe's greatest acoustic guitar players. He has been
playing professionally for over thirty-five years and his multi-facetted career
is testament to his talent as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. With
experience covering three continents and many genres, he is master of diversity
and can, seemingly effortlessly, turn his hand to whatever the work demands of
him, whether it is re-interpreting traditional music, playing a Jazz classic or
