Chris Kirkham, Manager of Discover Folkestone, Hythe & Romney Marsh, and I are currently working together on the design and content of the summer events leaflets and our deadline for the first one – June – is getting close.
If anyone has an event in Shepway planned for June that has not already been given/sent to Chris Kirkham, please could you send it to him within the next two weeks – the absolute deadline is Friday 14th May. His email address is cckirkham_at_googlemail_dot_com.
Due to limited space, I cannot guarantee that all events will be included in the leaflet; however, they will all be put on the Discover Folkestone website. We are especially interested in outdoor community events, arts events (including art exhibitions), sport and family fun days.
The information we need is:
Ø Name of event
Ø Date of event
Ø Times (start - and finish if relevant)
Ø Contact telephone number
We will also need similar event listings for the July and August leaflets – please send these to Chris too.
