*Macmillan's Brick Lane Takeover*

Macmillan Cancer Support will once again take over Brick Lane in East London on Thursday 17th June when the second run of its new music event - Macmillan's Brick Lane Takeover - will welcome 2000 music enthusiasts from 5.30pm through to the early hours. This year's astonishingly good line-up includes *Eliza Doolittle, Kill It Kid, Three Trapped Tigers, Cosmo Jarvis, Beatbullyz, The Paris Riots *and lots more - with some still to be announced. **STOP PRESS** - extra acts just announced include *Erland and the Carnival, Matt Horne (DJ), Little Comets, Tree Top Flyers, The Paris Riots, Clock Opera, 26*, and *The Attika State*.

*Trip Festival*

The beautiful surrounds of the Carreglywyd Estate on the island of Anglesey in north Wales will be the setting for the first annual Trip Festival. Nestling amongst lush green Welsh hills and an expanse of unspoilt rugged coastline will be an intimate arena that will see a live music stage hosting a mix of British and international, signed and unsigned bands playing folk, psych-folk and psychedelia. Alongside the live music stage will be a dance tent with the musical emphasis firmly on the Balearic and cosmic boogie vibes, featuring a hand-picked selection of DJs from around the world. Also on offer will be a host of theatre performances, workshops, therapies and family-friendly activities. *The 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch*

Now back for its third year, The 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch is a one-day festival, taking place in Shoreditch Park, that highlights the audacity and bluster of Rock 'n' Roll in its rawest form and presents the best new underground music alongside inspirational international artists, set deep in the heart of London's most creative and cultural quarter. *Take It To The Bridge*

Music fans North and South of the border can look forward to an exciting new outdoor event in the Irish entertainments calendar this summer. On 3rd July 2010, Take It To The Bridge will showcase an array of new talent alongside some of Britain's more established indie acts, including headliners *The Futureheads*, in an ideal countryside setting, between Banbridge and Castlewellan in County Down. *Field Day*

Brought to you by London's most daring promoters Adventures In The Beetroot Field and Eat Your Own Ears, Field Day transforms the heart of East London into a Village Fete; expect countrified fun and games on the village green, as well as a tug o' war including teams of your favourite schmindie bands. It's an amalgamation of all the best bits of your childhood, soundtracked by your favourite bands, all in one sun-drenched (fingers crossed) day. If previous years have led us to expect a lot from Field Day's line-up, they've not disappointed for 2010. So far confirmed are the likes of* Phoenix, Max Tundra, Memory Tapes, Caribou, Mouse On Mars, Silver Apples* and* James Holden*, with many more still to be announced.

*Truck*

Originally founded by brothers Robin and Joe Bennett, on a farm within a welly wang from their family home, this year marks the 13th Truck festival. Having previously been described as 'a village fete merged with Woodstock', you can expect the usual assortment of wholesome activities and varied market stalls as well as some cutting edge musical treats. Truck have announced an impressive line-up so far, with the likes of *Teenage Fanclub, Blood Red Shoes, Mew, F**ked Up, Darwin Deez, Future Of The Left, Ebsen and the Witch, Good Shoes, Lau, Los Campesinos!, Ms Dynamite* and *Stornoway* already confirmed.
As ever the Rotary Club will be there to provide you hungry Truckers with your fill of burgers, and don't forget to take some pennies so you can buy an ice cream from Colin the Vicar.

*Lollibop*

LolliBop looks to be one of the year's best events for the young and the young at heart, and should be something very special indeed. An astonishing festival aimed at the under-10s and their families, it's a fantasy adventure in a world of imagination, magic and wonder where anything can happen. Coming up in just about ten days time is one of our highlights of 2009 - Bristol and Nottingham's premier metropolitan festival, Dot to Dot - now extended to take in in Manchester too! *Sonisphere*

Sonisphere Festival has got certain parts of the WeGotTickets office, including myself, very excited. Last year's inaugural event featured some of the greatest rock and metal acts of all time, along with some of the best up and coming bands, and they've already confirmed this year's headliners as *Rammstein* and *Iron Maiden*, with* Iggy and the Stooges*, *Slayer*, and *Alice Cooper* also confirmed. It's about now that you should be throwing up some devil horns, and buying your tickets!

*Sunningwell Festival*

A stage on a pond, you say? This year's theme of 'Pirates on the Pond' should keep you entertained while you enjoy the spectacle of (what appears to be) a floating stage. The 2010 festival celebrates 10 years of the festival, featuring opera, rock, musicial theatre and art exhibitions. *Folk by the Oak*

Although still shiny and new, Folk by the Oak has already built a unique reputation as something a little bit special with its relaxed, family friendly atmosphere and high quality line-up standing out to festival-goers from across the country. *Art in Action*

Art in Action is a feast for the soul and the senses. As one of the longest running art and craft festivals in the UK, it brings together hundreds of artists in a vast array of artistic disciplines offering beauty, inspiration and creativity. *Soundwave Croatia*

One of the best festivals of 2009 returns bigger and better in 2010; the Guardian are already tipping it as one of their top ten festivals to try this year, describing it as having 'all the quirks of a Bestival but in a far more beautiful, and sunny setting' - in Croatia, nonetheless. *Wychwood*

Wychwood 2010 promises to be a scorcher; a super family-friendly festival, there really is something for everyone here. Having been nominated for countless awards since its inception in 2005, and garnering such praise as 'an excellent hybrid of the Big Chill, WOMAD and The Cambridge Folk Festival' (Time Out) and 'a bijou Glastonbury' (The Independent), it's clear that this is one of the UK's best up and coming festivals. *Croissant Neuf Summer Party*

This festival made an appearance in Virtual Festivals' 'Top Ten Boutique Festivals of 2008', and deservedly so. A combination of the picturesque location, great activities for kids, top quality food and drink, endless opportunities for music, dancing and theatre has led Croissant Neuf to gain a reputation as one of the best family orientated festivals in the UK. With *Magic Numbers* set to headline, this looks a great year for CNSP.

*Out To Graze*

One of the UK's leading dance festivals, and fresh from a UK Festival Awards nomination for Best Dance Event last year, Out to Graze 2010 will feature stages hosted by Bassmentality, Simple & Slide and Dub Politics, as well as a number of other promoters from Oxford and London; and the ever popular Bedouin Tent. The award-winning Sunrise Celebration is returning to the organic, green and luscious Somerset fields this summer. *Tenterden Folk Festival*

Tenterden Folk Festival is a long weekend festival of folk song, music and dance, situated in the ancient Weald of Kent, about 12 miles west of Ashford.
