Subject: Event organisers wanted: Apply now for your chance to organise a music event for Oxfam

For the last two years we're proud to have been the official ticketing partner of *Oxjam*:, Oxfam's largest music event and the UK's biggest festival! It's a music festival with a difference: people like you organise it. Every year hundreds of music-lovers organise music events for Oxfam during the month of October. Through these events, vital funds are raised for Oxfam's work and whether you're into dance or dubstep, pop or punk, holding an Oxjam event is your chance to put on a great music event and help fight poverty with music.
We'll be selling tickets for hundreds of Oxjam events later in the year, just like last year:, and, just like last year, we'll be offering you the chance to donate to the cause during the whole of October - but why not get involved in hosting an event as well?
*Local Music. Global Impact.*

An Oxjam event can be anything that uses music to raise money for Oxfam. All kinds of events join the line-up - from busking and dinner parties to big city-wide festivals. And whether you raise £10 or £1000, the money you raise allows Oxfam to keep on fighting poverty around the world.
Apply to be an Oxjam Music Event Organiser: before the 31st of May and you'll get to go to a free event training day run by a major national promoter near you in June. Industry experts will help you to plan, promote and raise money at your Oxjam event. You'll also get to meet other amazing Oxjam Event Organisers from around the country to swap ideas and advice and together form the biggest line-up of any music festival in the UK! Don't miss out, register on the Oxjam website: today...
Once you've registered you'll be given access to a whole range of resources to help you put on a successful event. The Oxjam Team are currently developing a brand new interactive 2010 toolkit, which they'll post to you as soon as it's finished. For now take a look at the Oxjam 2009 toolkit: which is packed with tips and advice, web banners, posters, flyers and guidelines.
You'll also get support from your nearest Oxjam Regional Team who are on hand to help match you to performers or helpers they know of and answer any queries and provide you with branded materials.
