April brings St George's Day, and a host of events to enjoy as the weather gets warmer. Don't forget, our summer term starts this month, so if you've been meaning to sign up for Cecil Sharp House Community Choir, C# Minors, or Saturday Music Workshops, now is the time to do it. There's a day of workshops from Camden Clog, and the latest from our popular Family Barn Dances.
Book now: Nowt as Queer as Folk Monday 3 May, from 2pm
The closing chapter in a week of concerts held in support of Folk Against Fascism. Nowt as Queer as Folk will not only be a musical rumpus of frivolity and festivities but a point of reflection and celebration of all the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender artists performing today who have found voice through British traditional song and songwriting and the road journeyed to reach this point.
Featuring: Tom Robinson, Roy Bailey, Lou Killen, Gina Le Faux, Jo Freya, Tim van Eyken, Belinda O'Hooley and Heidi Tidow, Jim Causley, Sam Lee, Alexis Joshua, Newcastle University Students, Stew Simpson and many more.More information and book tickets Camden Clog Day of Dance Saturday 10 April, from 9.30am
