Coope Boyes & Simpson's all-day vocal harmony workshop for the Lewes Saturday Folk Club on Saturday 27th. February is sold out,
as is their evening performance at the folk club. To go on the waiting list for tickets or workshop places, please email me.
 
We still have places for Georgina Boyes's participatory talk on English folklore from 2.00 -4.30 in the Crown Inn the same afternoon.

Gigs are starting to come thick and fast, so this is the first list for 2010.
Saturday, 20th February – The Wright Family, supporting Bartram, Brookes & Weatherall at the Kit & Cutter, The Deptford Arms, 52 Deptford High Street, London SE8 4RT. Nearest transport: BR Deptford (easy from London Bridge). Times: doors 7.30pm, music starts at 8.30. Entry: £5.

Tuesday, 9th March – ‘Mouth Harp Mayhem – trad to mad’. IoNAJHA members, Sam Lee, Peter Hope Evans, Jonathon Cope and The Wright Family in concert, plus Moyle’ (improvised sound art ensemble) and with a special performance by Kirtlington Morris. At the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford OX1 2DH, starting 7.45pm to 10pm Tickets: £10 (£8 concession).

Tuesday, 28th April – ‘Jews Harp Café Oto’, with Peter Hope Evans and Michael Wright (plus possible others) at Café Oto, 22 Ashwin Street, Dalston, London, E8 3DL 020 7923 1231.
