JAN 2              WASSAIL!     (£3)

                        Twelfth Cake & a wassail bowl will be served. Bring seasonal songs & tunes.

JAN 9              HILARY WARD (half-booking)       (£4)

                        A fine unaccompanied singer, Hilary has chosen to do a half-booking so there will be plenty of scope for floor spots.

                        First an hour of informal tunes while people arrive. Then the singing starts, finishing with a good hour of glorious choruses. Ballads & the occasional instrumental party piece will be very welcome, too.

                        A high-energy young band from Somerset with fiddle, bouzouki, accordion, guitar, flute, bassoon, oboe & voices.  These 'New Roots' competition finalists featured at many 2009 festivals including Sidmouth & run their own local     sessions. They will play for a few dances as well as songs & tunes for listening.
