Q) Tell us a little bit about your show. What initially inspired you to start it?

A) WSF Radio was initially started to showcase talented indie artists.  I began to see the passion and how talente artists were not being heard. We changed the format from all sports to all music.

Q) What characteristics make a great holiday song?

A) I feel the characteristics of a great holiday song is the spirit of the holiday.  All holiday song are awesome especially when you singing together as a group.  But it is the spirit and joy of the season that really makes the song special.

Q) What are some of your favorite holiday songs/renditions?

A) Indie artist Tracy Cruz Have one of the best renditions of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" I have ever heard. You want to hear some serious vocals take a listen to Tracy Cruz's Holiday CD from last year. Incredible!

Q) When is it appropriate to start playing holiday music? My mother seems to think November 1st is the “officialâ€ð start date; any take on this debate? She also claims that January 1st is the end date.

A) I remember as a child growing up the week of Thanksgiving was our official holiday marker. Now that I am older its seems some start playing holiday music as early as late Oct.  Jan. 1 was the official end of the holiday, and all the decorations came down.

Q) Any quirky holiday memories that you care to share?

A) Quirky memories LOL! I remember our family always practiced the Secret Santa for Christmas. At Thanksgiving everyone pulled a name from the hat, and you would be that person's Santa at Christmas you will give them their gift. It worked well until one year some particular family members thought it would be funny to give zonk gifts. That was the end of our Secret Santa days, now I think back on it, it was funny lol someone gave me a pair of lady hosiery as a gift!
