Not to surprisingly we have made the decision to postpone the visit of Sheema Mukherjee on Tuesday 12th due to the weather and conditions. In fact access to Crowhurst Park is closed until the weather breaks.
We are hoping to reschedule for the end of Feb so when I know the exact date, and that will be sorted early next week I  will let everyone know.At least they should be new chairs by then !!!!

If you have bought tickets they will be fine for the rescheduled date but if that is not convient get in touch and we will sort that out.

Subject: Tenterden Folk Club cancelled

For the first time ever in 18 years, I think we should cancel this Tuesday night (Jan 12th) at The Tenterden Folk Club at the Woolpack.
Although the main roads are not too bad during the day the side roads are like a sheet of ice and at night become very bad.  Not worth the risk.  I have just cleared about two foot of drifted snow from my drive but only in my garden.  The other 40 foot or so outside is still deep snow so if I get out I may not get back in when it is frozen.
See you all on Tuesday 9th in February at the Woolpack and Saturday 13th February at The White Lion. 
Norah Rendell and Brian Miller are joined by Adrian O for a special night of Irish music and stories in Tenterden

Due to ill health Pete Coe has had to postpone his visit to Surrey this week-end.  As a result:

 - the folk club at the Guildford Institute on Friday 15th January has been cancelled; and

 - the caller at the barn dance with The Watch at Godalming Borough Hall on Saturday 16th January will now be Phil Bassindale - www.gbhceilidhs.org.uk
