The 'unconditionally mighty' (Mojo) Mawkin:Causley present their heady mix of richly melodic vocals, melodeons, electric bass and acoustic guitar as they breath youthful vigour and considerable energy into their folk-inspired music.Touring in support of their debut album The Awkward Recruit, the group's meteoric rise has seen nomination for Best Group (BBC Folk Awards 2009) and BBC Radio 2 seal of approval from Bob Harris and Mike Harding.
