1) The next Crawley Ceilidh Workshops are at Southgate Community Centre, CrawIey.  On Monday 8 June we feature the acclaimed caller Fee Lock and lively music from Roger Watson.  The final session on 15 June again features Fee Lock this time with Richard Jones and Holly Sheldrake.  Doors open at 7.30 for an 8.00pm start.  All this is building to the Folk Festival Ceilidh on 27th June and if we get your support more Ceilidhs to follow. See http://www.sefan.org.uk/CCE.html for full details of the programme.  The numbers are building but we could do with a few more attendees.  Please give us your support.  The cost is only £3 a session and free to those who are under 26.  Phone or email if you have any questions.

2) The Horsham Folk Club programme is at http://www.horshamfolkclub.co.uk/

Sunday June 7th Bryony   Close harmony singing from three vocalists with a fine repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs. So enthusiastic are Alison Younger, Cathy Barclay and Ailsa Mackenzie that they come together for gigs from Lancashire, north west Scotland and Sussex! They perform with dulcimers and possibly the Scottish harp and recorder too. Admission £5. Members £3.

Sunday June 14th John Conolly  John Conolly is the son and grandson of boat-builders on the River Humber, north Lincolnshire. Not surprising then that many of John's songs have the tang of the sea in them. He is known internationally for his fine songs, some of which have entered the repertoire of countless singers. His best known song is Fiddlers' Green. Then there is the heart-rending Willie Leonard and the outrageously funny, Smart-arse.
Here is a rare opportunity to hear the writer perform his own songs with warmth and humour, playing the guitar and melodeon. This will be a cheering, uplifting and rewarding evening.

Admission is £5 (£3 for members), under 18 free.
