Zoox are playing on Stage 2 at The Stables Theatre, Milton Keynes, THIS SATURDAY 30th MAY at 8.45pm!!
Tickets cost 9.50 in advance, 11.50 on the door.

Zoox are a superb folk trio serving up a cocktail of rootsy new melodies and traditional tunes with a delicate balance of strings, wind, percussion and voices. Be prepared for a fabulous array of instruments from contrabassoon to congas, with influences including Celtic, Appalachian, Klezmer, African, Cuban, rock and classical. Exciting arrangements, great musicianship and infectious energy typify their performances.

Subject: What's on in the Horsham Area

The next Crawley Ceilidh Workshop is on Monday 1 June at Southgate Community Centre, CrawIey at 8.00pm prompt and then the series continues for two more Mondays at Southgate Community Centre finishing on 15 June.  All this is building to the Folk Festival Ceilidh on 27th June and if we get your support more Ceilidhs to follow. See for full details of the programme.  The numbers are building but we could do with a few more attendees.  Please give us your support.  The cost is only 3 a session and free to those who are under 26.  Phone or email if you have any questions.

The Horsham Folk Club programme is at but I shall summarise the next couple of dates for you.

Sunday 31st May  Stuart & Denise Savage   A welcome return of long time friends and members of the club, Denise and Stuart. They play and sing an entertaining and cheering variety of traditional and music hall songs plus a few brilliant songs of their own. They perform with style and humour with Denise on concertina and Stuart playing guitar.
Admission is 5 (3 for members), under 18 free.

Sunday June 7th Bryony
Close harmony singing from three vocalists with a fine repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs. So enthusiastic are Alison Younger, Cathy Barclay and Ailsa Mackenzie that they come together for gigs from Lancashire, north west Scotland and Sussex! They perform with dulcimers and possibly the Scottish harp and recorder too. Admission 5. Members 3.
