DrBoKarma introduces Kirsty Almeida for Second Sunday, March 8th
Songs in The Room ~ second Sunday afternoon of the month ~ Blackboys Inn (Nr Uckfield)
Kirsty Almeida’s ‘Second Sunday’ appearance in March will be an intimate affair, featuring her lovely voice, her jasmine guitar, and the double-bass playing of co-writer and arranger Matt Owens. DrBo says: “Kirsty’s music is thoughtful, original, and warmly seductive. As a performer she can find several gears: salsa-fiery, tender bluesy and boogie-bop funny.”
Second Sunday ~ Songs in The Room is a monthly songwriter showcase, hosted by local writer, singer and band leader DrBoKarma. Invited guests appear in a leisurely lunchtime and mid-afternoon session, on the second Sunday of the month, at The Blackboys Inn, Lewes Road (B2192) East Sussex TN22 5LG ~ come and eat and be part of the event (£5 adults, no charge for children) ~ music starts at 2.30pm, main act plays at around 3pm.
