A one-day conference examining the world, folk and
roots industry with a focus on concerts, touring and festivals.

Roots South West and Colton Hall Bristol, in
partnership with WOMEX, and supported by ‘Noodle’. present a day long event
for the British roots, world and folk music industry.
You are invited to check your diary for a major one
day UK symposium to be held on Wednesday April 22nd this year. The programme
will include of a key-note speech followed by sessions, networking time, lunch
and an evening showcase.
The theme for the day is live music and will include
representatives from the festival industry, touring consortia, promoters,
agents, musicians and managers.

Plus, Gerald Seligman, Director of WOMEX speaks on
"The Industry Crisis: Has it finally hit the live scene? An
international view".
