Hi all!

The present course of improvised harmony singing at South Hill Park has 2 weeks to go (extra week added to compensate for the many who didn't get there through the snow on Feb 3rd), so that's Tuesday 24th Feb.

The next course (Sing In the Spring) starts on 3rd March and continues for 6 Tuesdays. Booking is open now, or why not come along to Feb 17th or 24th as a taster? Details of the course and how to book are below:

SING IN THE SPRING

Celebrate the lengthening of days and the resurgence of life and come and join in a series of 6 workshops based on singing in harmony ... without having to read the music!

Everything will be taught ‘by ear’, and improvisation is positively encouraged, as everyone, whatever their experience, is guided to find their own place in the sound.

Based on a repertoire and style of harmony derived from English folk traditions, the workshops will be led by Roger Watson, whose vast experience includes professional touring with folk groups, the founding of a number of community folk choirs and the leading of a host of accessible singing and music projects for all ages. www.rogerwatson.co.uk

Terrace Room, South Hill Park, Bracknell, 8.00 - 9.30pm, Tuesdays: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March and 7th April. £8 per session (no concs.) or £40 for the whole series booked in advance (= 1 session free!)

BOX OFFICE: 01344 484123    www.southhillpark.org.uk

Best wishes

Roger
