FAIRTRADE FAIR AND EXHIBITION - A FIRST FOR BURGESS HILL

Burgess Hill's gets into the swing of things with its first ever Faitrade and Freedom Festival which is part of a week long festival promoting Fairtrade and trade justice. Robert Eggleston, Chairman of the Burgess Hill Town Fairtrade Steering Group said "it is always difficult with a first event like this to gauge the level of support but I am really pleased with the number of organisations that have agreed to take part. It represents a good cross section of charitable, social enterprise and commercial organisations that are involved in trying to give developing communities a fair deal. The Fair and Exhibition will be a mix of information but hopefully with the feeling of a bazaar about it as well as there will be plent of opportunity to sample and buy fairly traded goods. Hopefully, it will also help to wipe away the winter blues as well.

The Fairtrade Fair and Exhibition takes place on Saturday 28th February from 10.00am to 3.00pm in the Martlets Hall, Burgess Hill and admission is free.

The line up includes the following organisations
