Subject: The last two Junctions concerts

Dear all

Just a quick reminder that the last two Junctions concerts are coming up: saturday 10th January at the Hawth, Crawley, and saturday 17th at South Hill Park, Bracknell.

"Junctions: English music breaking formation" is the collaborative concert series bringing together contemporary composition and traditional English folk music that has been running since late November. It features the Tacet Ensemble, Spiers & Boden and composers Alison Kay and Ed Hughes, and (though I say so myself) is really exciting.

As well as traditional music from S&B and Tacet's performance of music by living English composers, Alison, Ed, John and Jon  have all written beautiful new works for the combined ensemble. All together it creates a unique event celebrating these two musical genres, and the common ground between them.

Hope to see you at one or other -

Adam
