He recently led and organised the Ethno Histria in Slovenia, an orchestra of talented young musicians drawn from all over the world. Before returning home he will visit India to accept an invitation to record with local musicians and return again to Sweden to record a duo guitarist album with Matias Perez. He will be returning to Australia in 2009 for a headline tour, including the National Folk Festival, the Port Fairy Folk Festival,  the Brunswick Music Festival, the Blue Mountains Music Festival, as well as string of club dates.

Tonight he will be performing with guest musicians TBC. A rare opportunity to

FLEUR DE PARIS

Led by mesmerising chanteuse LO POLIDORO with evocative EDITH PIAF style vocals and charm.  “Be transported to a more elegant era, a unique atmosphere that provides an irresistible combination of live music, great food and hospitality in a setting as alluring as a coquette’s boudoir.” A sparkling night of authentic Parisian swinging society cafe music with the chic Fleur de Paris, London-based quartet specializing in the old French café & music-hall styles of pre & post war chanson & musette. This rich and evocative strand of twentieth century music is brought to life by the beautiful and charming voice of chanteuse Lo Polidoro,  accompanied by the accordion and piano of Christian Dupont, the violin of Kirsten Hammond and the guitar of Martin Brown.

Montand, Andre Claveau & Edith Piaf are interspersed with musette waltzes and swing tunes,

dating from the 1890s to the 1950s. Et que vive la chanson francaise!
