Subject: Happy Christmas!

Hiya
Welcome to the new listees! Hope you enjoyed the concert on Sunday. I know lots of you did from the lovely emails you've sent, thank you for those and I agree with all of them that it was a really magical evening, and so diverse. So many highlights but I have to mention Chris While's incredible rendition of O Holy Night and Julie Matthews's Silent Night following her WW1 reading. The way Chris ended that by creating the sound of the distant bombs on her Bodhran was just .... well..... there are no words to describe.
Apparently there has been a change of management at that venue so I'm hoping to be able to re-negotiate in the new year and maybe it won't be the last concert there after all - fingers crossed. What did you think of the upstairs Bar, was that better?
The St Agnes team loved the venue and want to come back so watch this space as they say!
There are reviews of the previous two gigs on the website now thanks to Phil and Mick, both excellent reporters.
Now I have a huge favour to ask everyone. To help me decide how to plan the future of Folk in the Barn, would you please take two minutes to complete an online survey. Its very easy and quick and free! and would help me a great deal. Just click on this link and answer as honestly as you can. It's completely anonymous, I won't know who has responded, but I would be grateful for as many responses as possible to give the best results. Thank you in advance
