Ensemble ICC, the performing wing of the Irish Composers' Collective, is performing in Galway (Augustinian Church, Thursday, 4 December, 8pm) and Dublin (Unitarian Church, Friday, 5 December, 8pm) this week. The Irish Chamber Orchestra, which recently moved into a new, purpose-built building in Limerick, is taking part in new educational project this week. Sing Out Galvone involves the ICO and students of Galvone National School, Limerick. The students have been studying various aspects of music and have composed new school hymns, sports anthems and Christmas songs.
