Hi folks,

 

This is just to let those who were not there last week know, that we have a special folk night tomorrow night!!  We shall have the back room available exclusively to us whilst the rest of the pub is only open for a large function.  Fear not we will have access to the Loos!!

 

What is more Jonathon has kindly laid on a selection of drinks for us which will hopefully cover everybody's tastes.  If you think it unlikely that your own strange taste will be catered for please bring your own or check availability tomorrow night!

 

This is the last time we shall meet in 2008 so I hope you will make every effort to be there.  The Christmas Ensemble will be doing a couple of short sets for which we have been rehearsing hard, we think we sound pretty good so please come and find out if we are right!  We would value your support and thoughts on the subject.

 

NEW YEAR'S DAY,  The pub is open so it is my intention to run the folk club but I would be grateful to know that Dannie and I will not be sitting there talking to ourselves.  Sue has already said that she will come if she can get a lift so if I could have an indication of the intention to come or non availability that would be most helpful.

 

It just remains to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to thank you all for your support for the club this year.
