Brighton Acoustic Session
The Lord Nelson, Trafalgar Street, Brighton
Monday November 3
9 pm  Admission free.
Dublin songwriter Adrian Mannering makes a welcome return to Sussex for his only UK appearance. His most famous song, Lovers, has been recorded multiple times (including by The Fureys) but is only one of many that have earned him the reputation as one of Irelands finest.

His talent was obvious from his early days, as this review in New York's prestigious Village Voice observed: "He wrote terrific ballads and became the troubadour of the Gaslight. The crowd loved his topical songs - his visitor's eye framed New York in a fresh, awestruck perspective."
And Irish Music Magazine described him as: “A songwriter with the rare ability to connect, with words & music, a time, a place and a generation.”
