The Horsham Folk Club programme is at http://www.horshamfolkclub.co.uk/index.html

Sunday 12th October

 Gumpf
Gumpf is a six-piece band from mid Sussex with three guys and three gals. These young players sing and play with passion in a variety of styles which has folk at its heart. They sing traditional songs from all over the UK and more modern material too.

Their music is open to many influences including bluegrass occasionally, and the music of the Middle East. Their instruments are guitar, fiddle, flute, whistles, bouzouki, bass and percussion. They have created a fascinating, uplifting and original show. Admission is only £5 on the door with a reduction for members. £5/£3 www.gumpf.net

Sunday 19th October
Issy and David Emery and Kate Riaz
Issy is an outstanding melodeon player inspired to take up the box by the playing of Norfolk's Tony Hall. She has developed an unusually sensitive and creative style. David's guitar style is influenced by Vin Garbutt, but various elements, not always folkie, of David's eclectic taste in music can also be detected in his distinctive and thoughtful accompaniments. The duo is joined by brilliant cellist, Kate Riaz. Her exquisitely skilful and creative playing has proved the perfect third dimension to an already successful duo. £6/£4
