Netrhythms 'Front Page Favourites' focuses on
MICHAEL MESSER & HIS RESONATOR GUITARS

'Guitar King' Messer has made a brave leap into the guitar industry with his own brand of budget-priced reproductions of 1930s National resonator guitars. There are two models - The Michael Messer BLUES, and The Michael Messer LIGHTNING.
Good times, hard times - there is never a bad time to sing the blues!

London is preparing for one of the largest ever celebrations of New Orleans music and culture outside of Louisiana and the USA.
"please drink Southern Comfort responsibly", so say the organisers of the
FESTIVAL NEW ORLEANS Free Festival at The O2  London Arena
October 24th and 25th 2008
Does this mean that there will be free samples? We can hope!

As well as performances from over 20 bands and musicians direct from New Orleans including Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Kermit Ruffins, Marcia Ball, BeauSoleil, The Rebirth Brass Band, John Mooney and Buckwheat Zydeco, the free undercover two day event will feature Louisiana food demonstrations, the Mardis Gras Indians and a host of authentic New Orleans attractions, including a recreation of the French Quarters famous Bourbon Street.

Today's NETRHYTHMS Newsletter was prepared whilst listening to
MATT ANDERSEN's Something in Between
http://www.myspace.com/mattandersenmusic

Matt's a powerful young blues man from Canada. Do check him out - he has the songs, the chops, and a voice which happily blasts the blues-rockers and seduces on the gentle heartbreakers.
