A Year with Ruth Notman

Signed to Mrs Casey in 2007, Ruth set about working closely with us to produce a debut album.  In November of the same year "Threads" was released to much critical acclaim.  Following 4 Star reviews in Mojo and The Guardian, Ruth played on Radio 2's Bob Harris Show and set about a busy summer of over 40 gigs at festivals and venues.  We are really proud of what Ruth has achieved in just one year and hope that she might get a look in at the 2009 Folk Awards - fingers crossed!

Mrs Casey Records is our small independent record label, which over the years has put out all manner of albums from Eliza Carthy's first works to the unique and often career launching Evolving Tradition compilations.  Mrs Casey Records is all about finding and nurturing new talent and introducing people to this great music.   If you are have an idea for an album or have something for us to listen to then get in touch.

Rolling Home with Roy Bailey

From his early days performing skiffle in student bars, to his love of Traditional songs and the stories they tell, onto developing a unique repetoire of songs of dissent and hope, he has appeared on stages, TV and Radio all over the world.  Roy now looks back and celebrates 50 years in the business with a very special concert.

We are really proud to have teamed up with Roy and Brass Tacks Productions to bring you

Rolling Home - Celebrating 50 years of Dissent

The BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award

We have worked on The BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award for a number of years now and it is a real privilege.  It is great to work on an event that is all about the development and furtherence of the music, where lots of big names and key players get involved and pass on to the next generation.
