Subject: Show of Hands at the Farnham Maltings - Wednesday 1st of October 2008 - Ticket News

A quick update on the “Show of Hands” ticket status for the concert at the Farnham Maltings on Wednesday the 1st October. Tickets are selling really well and it looks like the concert will sell out well before the show as there are only approximately 150 tickets left out of the 450 originally available. I would strongly recommend that anyone wishing to come along order their tickets sooner rather than later.
This will be your last chance to see Show of Hands ( in Surrey ) before Phil takes his sabbatical next year to concentrate on the Tall Ships race. Tickets are priced at £17.00 (£15.00 concessions) and can be ordered from either the box office on 01252 745444 or direct from the Maltings web link below.http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?agency=FARNHAMMALT&organ_val=25665&pid=6277203
Our monthly Folking Live concerts at South Hill Park, Bracknell in the Cellar Bar start again on Thursday the 25th of September and we have our good friends Two Fingers of Firewater playing as part of the line up kicking things off for us. http://www.myspace.com/twofingersoffirewater
Also a little further off  (just before Christmas) folking.com are co-promoting Darren Black’s concert at the Mill in Banbury, Oxon on the 22nd of December which will feature Dave Swarbrick, Kevin Dempsey & Friends in a special one off Christmas Concert to celebrate the launch of Darren’s new album “Thinkers and Fools”. Any Cropredy regulars will know the Mill is often full of surprises (Dai you can vouch for me on this one) and in my opinion is well worth the trip up there.
Best to keep an eye on the http://www.folking.com/live/ link and see what we are up to. It’s also worth joining thehttp://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/folkmaster/
folking live Yahoo group as well so we can keep you up to date with all we are doing in 2008/2009.
Best Wishes
Darren and the rest of the Folking Live Team
