Subject: London Gypsy Orchestra Musicians
Dear Gypsy Music lovers - and players,

...or those who would like to play it !

The London Gypsy Orchestra is currently looking for saxophonists, double bassists and as usual cellists. Also viola would be welcome.

As you know, we are an amateur group, but some professionals also feel the enthusiasm to play with us. The level reaches from grade 4 players all the through to semi professional and professional players. It is more important you have confidence and enthusiasm to play rather than play virtuoso. However, if you are an advanced or virtuoso player, there is the opportunity for solo and improvisation (specially sax!).

Important: your commitment, and your input and practice in-between sessions. We rehearse at Russel Square Thursday evenings from 7 or 7.30 until 9.30pm. Sometimes there are gigs on the weekend, where a certain amount of flexibility is needed (dates always known well in advance).

Membership fee: There is a termly fee to maintain the orchestra. It's 50, or 40 for students, and 30 for SOAS students.

If you are interested or want more info, please get back to me at gundulagruen_at_gmail_dot_com .

Thanks all, hope to hear from you soon!
