Show of hands: Acoustic Folk


The Thameside Theatre presents an evening with a difference with the acoustic roots band Show of Hands on Thursday 25th September 2008 at 8.00pm.

Steve Knightley and Phil Beer are widely acknowledged as the finest acoustic roots duo in England. Knightley, who have built up a huge following which has seen them twice sell out the Albert Hall, headlining at major festivals from Glastonbury to WOMAD and playing all over the world, from Europe to America, Australia and India. 

Show of Hands are a genre defying mix of folk, rock, roots, blues, country, trad, with a mix of influences by music of other countries, it is played out on an array of instruments from slide guitar to fiddle, mandolin to South American cuatro.

This is a show not to be missed if acoustic roots are your thing.
