2) Varèse Award & Diffusion
The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival is inviting submissionsfor the Varèse Award for ambient music. Pieces should be between five andtwenty minutes in length and composed for a specific location. 3) Irish violin and bow makers in West Cork
The West Cork Chamber Music Festival, which runs from 28 June to 6 July, will feature an exhibition on the work of violin and bow makers working in Ireland. The exhibition, at Bantry House, will showcase the work of Noel Burke, Gary Leahy, Robert Pierce, Conor Russell, Youenn Botherell, Peadar O'Loughlin, Jeremie Legrand, Bertrand Galen, Kuros Torkzadah and Graham Wright.
