Good afternoon...

I am writing to let you all know that there will be no Music News Nashville for several weeks, if not months. We have a personal medical issue occurring in my family and I am going to take time off to deal with that. As a result, there will be no updates to the website, no newsletters, and I will not be answering e-mails or phone calls with the exception of emergencies.

I want to tell you that after last Friday's mailing, I received an outpouring of well-wishes and I appreciate it to the depth of my heart. I have made good friends, good contacts, and have enjoyed working with all of you in the industry.

I do not know if we will be back or not... only time will tell. Eventually, I will send out an e-mail letting you all know what has happened and where things are at.

I want to thank everyone for sticking with me all these years, for reading our magazine and enjoying what we've done in the music industry, and for being my friends. Your friendship, your patronage, your contacts have made the world of difference to me.
