ROCHESTER SWEEPS FESTIVAL has some great
concerts lined up in their concert marquee in Rochester Castle
Gardens:
Friday 2nd May: DENNY
LAINE - the former Wings and
Moody Blues singer lives in San Francisco but is coming to England to play a
short tour.
The man who co wrote Mull of Kintyre and sang
'Go Now' appears on stage in an intimate acoustic setting with two other
musicians in 'An Evening with Denny Laine'.
Saturday 3rd May: THE
BATTLEFIELD BAND - Scotland's
iconic music machine trundles on and on and makes a rare appearance in the
south. Support from The Dealers.
Sunday 4th May: SHOW OF
HANDS - tickets are selling
fast for the most popular act on the English folk scene. Phil and Steve are
joined by Miranda Sykes on double bass and vocals whilst local wizz kids
Wheeler Street open the show.
Tickets for the concerts are just £16.50 and
available from the Visitor Information Centre at 95 High Street, Rochester
