Hello Everyone!

Well, Big Pete and the Backbones really pulled it off didn't they. Chicago style blues of ultimate quality - one long standing member has rated it as being the best gig ever at the club! And how about Steve "West" Weston's guest appearance with them - we had two of the finest harp players around on the same stage at the same time plus Matt Schofield on bass. It can only happen at the Bottleneck!

Bringing us neatly to our next change of style with the amazing Matt Schofield on his principal instrument. The highest rated British blues guitarist of the moment, with his trio comprising, apart from himself, Johnny Henderson (Hammond) and Evan Jenkins (Drums) - amazing musicians! I have seen them myself at the Jazz Cafe and at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, so I can personally recommend them as a truly great band and worthy of your immediate booking (by email please). I do recommend prompt booking, particularly for tables as I am already getting enquiries "off list" so to speak.

That's Tuesday 29th April at the Roffen Suite. The Matt Schofield Trio. Please continue to support!

Check the band out on www.nugenerecords.com, which also has a link to a dedicated website.

Look forward to seeing you on the 29th and I apologise for still not putting all names to faces - I'm gradually getting there though!

Richard Dobney.
