Subject: Walthmastow Folk - Update
Walthamstow Folk Club - change of guest

Unfortunately American autoharp player Bryan Bowers who was due at the club on 20th April has had to cancel his UK tour.

We are sorry that we shan't see him this time but hope he can return in the future. In the meantime we have arranged for our friend Simon Prager - One of the great treasures of British blues music - to take over the guest spot that evening. Our website at www.walthamstowfolk.co.uk has been updated accordingly (you may need to hit the 'refresh' button)

Just to remind you that, before then, we have one of our occasional series of "Standing Room only gigs this coming Friday - 4th April with Ashley Hutchings and The Rainbow Chasers.

The usual Sunday club nights continue with a "special" event this Sunday 6th April when Joe Stead presents an illustrated talk on The Life and Times of Paul Robeson. Then the following Sunday 13th we have Sara Grey, Kieron Means & Ben Paley.
