Bulletin

1) Glinsk Song Contest

The final of the twenty-first Glinsk Song Contest takes place on 13 July. The closing date for entries to the contest, which is open to all types of song, is 4 April 2008. The top prize is €1500 and the final will be broadcast live on local radio. Visit www.glinsk.com

2) Volans on BBC

Kevin Volans' recent performance (with Jill Richards) of his music for two pianos can now be accessed from the archives of BBC's Hear and Now programme. The performance in LSO St Luke's, London, features older works, such as Cicada, as well as two world premieres. The programme also features interviews with Volans and choreographer Siobhan Davies.
