This past Saturday, Feb. 2nd, up-and-coming and hit
songwriters alike came together at the Commodore Sports Lounge in
Nashville to support one of our own. As announced in the last
newsletter, a benefit was held to raise money to help
U.K.-turned-Nashville songwriter Lorna Flowers who was recently
diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As of Saturday night, over
$12,000 had been raised to help Lorna, but there is still need for
more. And, by helping Lorna, you can definitely help yourself
in your goal to be a songwriter or artist.
Would you like to meet with Chris Oglesby
who is widely revered as one of the best song-men on Music
Row? Play your songs for the man whose writer management
company is part of by 19 Entertainment, the company that
produces American Idol? Get feedback from the publisher
who gave Craig Wiseman his first staff-writing deal? Ask
questions of the writer manager who can set his clients up
to write with Carrie Underwood? You can...
CLICK HERE to go to the eBay auction where YOU
can be the winning bidder to have your music heard by those who make
the big decisions!
Music News Nashville would like to thank everyone who
participated in the benefit to help our friend, Lorna Flowers, and
everyone who will help in the days and weeks to come. If you
would like to send a donation to help Lorna, please mail a check or
