Clear the throat of winter’s chills, liven up
the spirit after the festive excess and come and join in harmony singing
in a series of workshops with Roger Watson of TAPS, founder of a number of
successful and ongoing community folk choirs. The workshops will introduce
singers to songs in three or four parts and all singers are given the
opportunity to try all the parts to the songs. You don’t need to be able
to read music. First session 07 January 20:00-21:30 with
subsequent sessions on 14, 21, 28 January and 04

singing as a group
Roger Watson: New songs for old - group songwriting, based on
making new versions of traditional songs
Rahi Bains: Punjabi and other Indian
songs with accompanying traditional folk instruments
