Subject: Update of info on
Kentish folk-clubs, sessions, open-stages and sing-arounds
Hi,
An update
from KentFolk - if any of you link to KentFolk, could I ask you to change to
something like one of the forms below.
If you want
it as .html , just please ask or grab it from the top of www.KentFolk.com.
A
major new section of KentFolk is the monthly news, which now has an
indexed tree directory structure,
Also, over Christmas I have done a lot of work on updating the
information on
folk-clubs, sessions, open-stages and
sing-arounds,
which now have rapid-access links
:
As of January I have begun an on-going program recordings
sessions in Kent
(which
are being passed to Simon Evans of Radio Kent, at his
request)
and these are also being made available as downloads on KentFolk
:
In
addition I have embarked on a progam to work with Kentish musicians
to upload their music to the respected USA organisation
eFolkMusic :
Please
contact me if you are interested, though I have quite a
backlog.
cheers,
Dr. Beau Webber
The
two suggested linking possibilities look
like (without, and with, embedded
links) :
Kent
Folk
- Folk, Celtic, Blues, Jazz and Cajun music in Kent, U.K.
- Kent gig calendars, news, photos & MP3 music.
- Kentish folk-clubs, sessions, open-stages and sing-arounds.
- Kent venue and musician listings.
A good number of top quality MP3 music files and JPEG photos are freely
down-loadable from KentFolk, by excellent Kentish musicians.
Listen to them, then book the
artists for that Wedding or function! .
