Subject: Bottleneck Blues Club

Hello Everyone

Many thanks to all who attended the Cadillac King's swingin', jumpin' evening on Tuesday - what a great band!  This was their second time to appear in the club's 12 year history and a most worthwhile return it was, with the crowd baying for more at the end..................  

......................I say crowd, however, whether football took it's toll again or there was any other reason, the level of attendance that we have had at the last two Roffen gigs would not be enough to keep the club going, let alone maintain that standard!  We need to average 100 people to make the night viable, continue to book really good bands and keep the Bottleneck's reputation as one of the country's premiere Blues Clubs!

Enough moaning from me - let's stay positive - If I could ask everyone to try to recruit a friend for the next event - just one or two extra people at each table would go a long way to achieving those numbers and it is a wonderful evening after all - so they're bound to thank you and they might even treat you to dinner!

I am going away now for a month, so you won't be pestered again by me until early in the New Year when I will be announcing the band for the 29th January 2008!
